MRT Ethic

I dunno whether is it because i have been rather impatient recently, or maybe the weather's a little to hot for me, whenever i take the MRT train, i will surely have sth to 'complain' abt. Esp after the Circle Line was open for public use and then to publicise this, they invited Phua Chu Kang and Dolly to talk and teach abt MRT manners. :) That is giving up your seat to someone that needs it more than you.

Haha.. but i feel not much use la. Each time i take the train, i often see the "Priority Seat" being eagerly taken by young army man (ma-chiam the army trng is too much a torture for them until they cant even stand for a while more), nicely dressed up OLs (pls, dress until so nice for what? Sit there bai mei ah), and mostly foreign workers (with all due respect to them; but i feel they are the ones that ba zhan the seats the most!).

There was once i managed to get a seat becos i board the train at Lakeside (so usually still got some seats one). Then by the time train reached Clementi, its alrdy full and packed. I was acty reading a magazine, so i didnt quite notice the surroundings too. Until Dover, i kinda lift up my head to relax my neck area and eyes as well, then i saw at the corner of my left eye, was a VERY pregnant lady.

To my surprise, she has been standing there all these while! Acty, she was not standing at my area at all, she was acty at the other side of the cabin, in fact quite far from me. So i looked at those ppl in front of her (nearest to her), the one at Priority Seat was sleeping (good job woman), then next to her.. was also a pregnant lady (so thats fine, but she looked very unfriendly leh..ha), then the one next to pregnant lady was sleeping (sighz, are you all really SO SO tired??), finally is the one next to me... not sleeping, not pregnant, but just di-gong lor... eyes open big big, wear until so nice, sit there and bai mei. Faint.

I gave up my seat for this VERY pregnant lady. She was very grateful and kept saying "Thank You". The thingy is not abt ppl giving thanks to you for being so NOBLE (ya rite, give up seat only what, very noble meh..), but it is really to have at least that little MRT Ethic.

If you wear until so nice, with full make up somemore, you only look good on the outside, becos to me, its only the outside la. Just sit there bai mei, not pai seh meh... i also paiseh for you leh...

If you so lack of sleep until the pt that even that short 15 - 20mins of train ride also wanna sleep, i got nothing to say la.

At least think for yourself... what if one day you grow old, you take train and you really need a seat but NO ONE... NO ONE wants to give up their seat, how will you feel??

If next time you or your wife is very pregnant, you take the train, and you really need that seat, but NO ONE... really NO ONE wants to give up their seat, how will you feel?

Do unto others what you want others to do unto you, pls.

So, in the end.. its a pregnant lady (me) giving up seat for the VERY pregnant lady. Why like dat....

Pls dont be so so hard up for a seat la. PLS.
