Typical day of Little Michela

I have a few people asking me similar questions like "So, how's being a FT mum now?", "Is it boring?", "What do you do with Michela everyday?", etc. So i decided to write out our life as a FT mum and a 18mths old baby girl. :)

8am : Michela wakes up calling Papa or Mama... and she means" Yo, I am now awake, so you two better NOT sleep anymore and play with meeeee!" Usually we cant be bothered with her. hahah..
8.15am - 8.30am : Drink milk
8.30 - 9.15am : PLAY, PLAY & disturb Papa while he prepares to go work.
9.15 - 9.30am : Bathing time.
9.30 - 11am : PLAY or READ or TV (depends)
11am - 12pm : Mummy prepares Michela's mum mum... (ie; food)
12 - 12.45 : Lunch for Michela
12.45 - 1.30pm : TV (OKTO or Wiggles or Mickey Mouse, etc)
1.30 - 3.30pm : Nap time
3.30 - 3.45pm : Drink milk
3.45 - 5pm : PLAY or READ or TV or disturb mummy prepare mum mum.
5 - 6pm : Downstairs walk walk
6 - 7pm : Dinner for Michela
7 - 7.30pm : Mummy takes dinner... Papa usually comes home by this time.
7.30 - 7.45pm : Michela wash up and change to PJs.
7.45 - 9.30pm : PLAY and PLAY or disturb Papa and Mama. haha..
9.30pm : Falls alseep for the day.. FINALLY!

So, this is a typical day for both of us.Actually she has more milk time.. just that i didnt include in.. and also, the word 'disturb' here means she wants baobao, she wants you to be with her, play with her, and you cannot leave her sight. hmm.. this makes my preparation for meals, household chores, as well as washing of clothes harder... many of such will only be done either whn she naps or whn she sleeps for the day.

This post acts as a reference for mothers who are considering of switching to FT mum.

But, i must admit that it is really very fulfilling as a FT mum esp whn your child look into your eyes innocently and call you Mama... it just melts my heart and makes you forget those times whn she is naughty or make you mad or even step on every nerve you have! hahahah...

The BIG day...

of Quentin & Linda of course! And like i mentioned earlier that i will try to post nice pictures for that day...

Since both MK and myself were helping out, we had to both reache the bride's place at 7-ish. And when i arrived, Linda was almost done with her make up and hair. She just looked gorgeous!

Then i (together with some of the Jie Meis) proceed on to preparing the 'Cai Liao' to sa-bo the brothers... Lemon with wasabi was a killer i guess. :) (didnt managed to take any picture for this becos... no hands leh.. heee).

Finally the brothers came.. initially i thot they wouldnt be cooperative to do all the stunts we instruct them to do... (and tht's why i had to 'beg' MK to be more cooperative days before! heheh..). Anw, in the end, to our surprise, they guai guai did all that we asked them to do! wow.... good job the brothers!

So the groom got the bride after paying us $288,000...... and,

here's the pretty bride in her Vera Wang's gown... The front..

... and the back. Love the black ribbon. It just adds the sophisticated feel to the whole gown.

Owing to the tight timeline of the wedding, we rushed down to the matrimony place at Sentosa, The Amara Sanctuary. The wedding was held at the Glass Pavilion that looks like this... Moments before the wedding starts..

Of course, without a doubt, Quen married Linda successfully! Sealing their love with a passionate kiss!! Muuuuaccckkkkss!

And then we move on to the wedding lunch that was to be commenced like 1 hour later..

The menu for the day.

Pls take note of the 3rd dish.. Baked Cod Fish in Bonito Sauce.. THIS IS YUMMY!!!!! No joke, really, really very nice!!

This is how it looks like.. OK i must admit that it doenst look very appealing... but do not be deceived by its outwards appearance!

The Cod Fish! YUMMY!! YUMMY!!!

I didnt want to take picture of the food as i thot it should more of less the same...but this Cod Fish really blew my mind off man.. really gotta mention it!

And the best part was when we (my table) were eating this dish, the live band played some music (not sure the name of the song tho) and it just blended so well.. felt so so heavenly.................

How i wish got buffet for this dish! hahaha..

Ok, i thnk this is random but..this is WE.. both tired.

We went off aftr helping to pack the place for the couple... we were both tired by then...

Took a cab home. (of cos!)

See what i mean.. my legs were tired and aching.. gotta take them off in the cab! haha..

And MK?

K-O!P

Anyway, we just wanna say a big CONGRATS to the couple! Have a blissful marriage!

Preparing for the BIG day...

well, not mine of cos. :)

Its for my hubby's buddy's wedding! This Saturday.

He is one of the brothers while i am helping out as one of the Jie Meis. Dusky Rose was the colour that the ladies are to wear on that day and thankfully, i managed to get the dress as close to the colour as possible! Yay and phew... :P

Anw, a nail voucher from Iputa at Far East Plaza was given to me as birthday pressie early this year. I had wanted to use it for CNY this year but it was fully booked back then. So finally, i have an excuse to use it this time round (before it expires!).

And here is my 2nd soft gel manicure:

Love the pink glitter! Hope it last... doing a lot of household chores nowadays.. :I

And i thot that since i doing mani, might as well pamper myself to do classic pedi too. Love this red too!!

I found out that the boss of Iputa is a Korean. She married a Singaporean many years ago and started this nail salon. The service is quite good but more imptly, the skills of those manicurists are good too! At least better than my 1st soft gel manicure during CNY period. Its quite a lot of difference! If you want, you are highly encouraged to call for appt slot cos their biz are really quite good. Its at Far East Plaza, #05-07, 6735 7073.

As for the dress, i didnt manage to take a nice picture of it yet.. i hope i can upload more pictures after the wedding yah. :P

Oh, and before i go off, i just want to say that this cheesecake from TCC (Suntec outlet) is really yummy! Try it!
