THE Announcement...

Err, acty hor i think by this time many many ppl shld alrdy know what i am going to announce. hehe...

During the weekend of Easter 09, i found out that i was pregnant. :)
Thank God, really thank God.

We just started trying and BAM! so zhun, we hit it and BB was conceived. :) Really a gift from God. :)

Sorry ar, a bit blur, but this is the best that i have. 2 red lines means Positive, so... :)

This one was my first scan, at 5th week. Very early pregnancy acty. You can only see the pregnancy sac or call pregnancy house. The foetus was too small to be seen then. hee..

This one was at 12th week. BB is more or less formed. Hands and feet also formed. We even saw it waved one of the hands. haha Very interesting. The brain is also developing. You can also see the spine - quite clear acty.
BB was very active then, becos it kept moving, and turning. MK say now he knows why i always feel giddy, becos BB is always turning! haha.

Anyway.. i am in the mdist of thinking of names.. Not sure boy or gal yet (think need another 1 -2 mths more), but nvm la, think of boy's and gal's names first lor... very exciting! :)
Est Due Date : 11th Dec 2009 (so near MK's bday! haha)

MRT Ethic

I dunno whether is it because i have been rather impatient recently, or maybe the weather's a little to hot for me, whenever i take the MRT train, i will surely have sth to 'complain' abt. Esp after the Circle Line was open for public use and then to publicise this, they invited Phua Chu Kang and Dolly to talk and teach abt MRT manners. :) That is giving up your seat to someone that needs it more than you.

Haha.. but i feel not much use la. Each time i take the train, i often see the "Priority Seat" being eagerly taken by young army man (ma-chiam the army trng is too much a torture for them until they cant even stand for a while more), nicely dressed up OLs (pls, dress until so nice for what? Sit there bai mei ah), and mostly foreign workers (with all due respect to them; but i feel they are the ones that ba zhan the seats the most!).

There was once i managed to get a seat becos i board the train at Lakeside (so usually still got some seats one). Then by the time train reached Clementi, its alrdy full and packed. I was acty reading a magazine, so i didnt quite notice the surroundings too. Until Dover, i kinda lift up my head to relax my neck area and eyes as well, then i saw at the corner of my left eye, was a VERY pregnant lady.

To my surprise, she has been standing there all these while! Acty, she was not standing at my area at all, she was acty at the other side of the cabin, in fact quite far from me. So i looked at those ppl in front of her (nearest to her), the one at Priority Seat was sleeping (good job woman), then next to her.. was also a pregnant lady (so thats fine, but she looked very unfriendly leh..ha), then the one next to pregnant lady was sleeping (sighz, are you all really SO SO tired??), finally is the one next to me... not sleeping, not pregnant, but just di-gong lor... eyes open big big, wear until so nice, sit there and bai mei. Faint.

I gave up my seat for this VERY pregnant lady. She was very grateful and kept saying "Thank You". The thingy is not abt ppl giving thanks to you for being so NOBLE (ya rite, give up seat only what, very noble meh..), but it is really to have at least that little MRT Ethic.

If you wear until so nice, with full make up somemore, you only look good on the outside, becos to me, its only the outside la. Just sit there bai mei, not pai seh meh... i also paiseh for you leh...

If you so lack of sleep until the pt that even that short 15 - 20mins of train ride also wanna sleep, i got nothing to say la.

At least think for yourself... what if one day you grow old, you take train and you really need a seat but NO ONE... NO ONE wants to give up their seat, how will you feel??

If next time you or your wife is very pregnant, you take the train, and you really need that seat, but NO ONE... really NO ONE wants to give up their seat, how will you feel?

Do unto others what you want others to do unto you, pls.

So, in the end.. its a pregnant lady (me) giving up seat for the VERY pregnant lady. Why like dat....

Pls dont be so so hard up for a seat la. PLS.

Daddy's Day!

My dad's birthday falls on 21st Jun and it just so coincide with Father's Day weekend almost every year. So its like a double celebration. haha..

This year, he wants to visit the Hay's Dairy Goat Farm and go to JB for a mini shopping, so we woke up at 9am and set off abt 20mins after that.

This is my first time visiting a Goat's Farm. Acty, nothing much one, plus got a kind of smell (Goat's smell and their poo's smell lor, haha). Overall the most excited one is our dearest Prince : Mr Guang Zu! haha...

Guang Zu drinking chocolate favour goat's milk for the first time, and.... he likes it! Wow...

Look at the goats.....

Shortly after that, we head to JB for lunch. We lunch at a HK Cafe in some wulu-wulu shopping centre. I ordered Fu-Rong Dan Fan and to my surprise, the egg was really quite BIG. But hor a little too stalty.

My lunch.. underneath is just white rice, nothing much.

The only thing i like was the drink that i ordered - Yam Milk Tea. :) The drink itself was TALL but nice la. :)

And thats my dad and Step-Mum... :)

The one at the bottom is their Spicy Fish Balls. I think its nice, except a little too salty and spicy.. haha but well its alrdy called SPICY Fishball, so.. keke...

It was acty a short trip. We went in at abt 12.30pm and came out at abt 6pm, but overall it was a good time spent with my family, esp my dad.

Looking forward to more of such trips!

Happy PAPA Day

&

Happy Birthday... PAPA. :)

SOS : Faltering Love - That little prayer

Date : Sep 1999
Time : Night
Venue : Blk 440 Clementi Ave 3, my bedroom.

Actually, i almost forgotten that night. After he left me, i thought i was left with nothing. Practically nothing. No minstry, no frens, no love, care and concern. Nothing. All i was left with : lotsa hurts, much disappointments, many wounds, many of them...

I had to turn to Him.

Pst Tan (or maybe the HS) brought to my remembrance of that little prayer.

That little prayer that was made to Him on Sep 1999.

I was on my bed, reading His Word.. then i prayed that prayer..

He was just sitting opposite me, looking straight into my eyes. His eyes were so full of love and concern (what i needed then).

I said " Sorry..."

He said " It is ok dear. It is over"

"Can i come back to Your Presence once again?"

I was like a little gal, crying, crying....

"I am waiting for you to come back."

"I want to serve You all over again. Please. "

That night, His Love and Presence filled the entire bedroom. I remembered that i didnt close the door actually, but yet this conversation was not disturbed.

That night, we just fellowshipped.

I really have almost forgotten abt this encounter, until last nite's SOS - That little prayer.

Got me crying again.

Felt so touched by Him.

No more do i only receive, but i give.

PSB Bazaar : 01 June 09

Recently, PSB held its very first Business Club Bazaar Sale. It was only for 1 day (10am - 7pm). As i have a blogshop that sells clothes, so together with another colleague, who also have a blogshop that sells bags, we pulled the rest of the colleagues in Life Sciences Dept to set up a stall. I was pretty excited as its my very first time setting up a stall in a bazaar, selling various kinds of things.

By 950am, more than half of the stalls there were already set up. Most of us started at abt 10am, however there was no crowd leh...

We thought maybe wait til noon time, surely will have more ppl come by to take a look and do some shopping. We even had small 'banners' that wrote "ALL UNDER $20!!!' and " 2nd Hand items, ALL MUST GO!!!", but.....

In the end, we only managed to sell 2 tops and 2 bags for almost one whole day. :( Actually the crowd was so bad that, by 4.30pm, a portion of the stalls packed up and left half way wor. Their leaving will decrease the motivation level of the rest of us. I also felt like leaving, but we still decide to hang on there until 7pm.

Well, we did, but we also didnt sell anymore things after the 2 tops and 2 bags.

Business was BAD that day. But i enjoyed myself and thought that its fun to do this kind of things once a while...

Actually i sold a dress at $15, but also bought another dress from colleague at $15. Whats more, i took cab to and fro workplace, because i got too many things to carry liaoz. So all in all, i KUI lor... haha but its ok la... i only do it for interest, not for profit. But if in future there is still such Bazaar coming up, hmm, think i consider bah. haha... :P
