What a way to start 2012! =)

I didnt quite end 2011 properly... meaning that things were in a mess weeks before 2011 ended. We were busy with Michela's room... all the painting and shifting tired us out... so much so that i didnt even do Christmas shopping! Then blink blink..... last day of 2011 liaoz... i remembered telling MK "wow, so fast, today is the last day of the yr!"

But never did i expect to start 2012 in such a good way... Pst Kong preached such a good message...abt Commiting oneself to a local church! I am sure, those that really listened, they will be integrated soon!

Then next was the meet ups and catch ups over a few groups of frens...

1) Ex-PSB gang
Kit was so nice to initiate the meet up and whats more... at her new house! She has such nice and cosy place to stay at... Good designs and choices of colours! William, Mel and even Jessie came! Excited and happy to see them... This grp of ex-colleagues really are one of the closest to me so far in my working life... Treasure them... and i am looking forward to the nex catch up soon at William's!! :p But the only 'inperfect' of that meet up was that we forgot to take a picture tog... booo... nvm nvm.. we shall rememeber to do it the next time. :)

2) Steamboat Dinner at Quentin & Linda's
We haven seen them for a good 6 months acty... and they are so kind to invite us to their house for steamboat fellowship! Specially cooked and boil the soup just for us! How nice of them... :) It was a good catch up in fact... We love them too and will be looking forward to the next meet up again, this time with Darren and Charlotte! :P

3) This isnt an intentional meet up... in fact it was after today's church service where we 'accidentally' saw each other... It started with Becky thanking me for all that was done for the cg and her.... Immediately, i teared... becos i was touched by her. But felt pretty embarressed that i acty cry so easily! ai yo.... Huixuan ah Huixuan.... :(

Then saw Mingming shortly after that.. 3 of us started chatting and they thank me for not giving up on the cg. Ming said that i totally won her over.. and Becky is so so much more opened to me as compared to the past... What can i say... I can only thank God that He soften their hearts and make them more open to me... Every relationship takes 2 hands to clap... they are willing to clap theirs tog with me... I thank God for them...

To Ming and Becky, lets keep growing in God together! Love you gals! :)

4) Lastly, i just want to say that i am indeed really happy to have found a Pri Sch fren via FB! Not convenient to post photos and say name, but lets just call her A.

A and myself were close frens during pri sch days... During PSLE, she fared better then me and was naturally posted to Express stream. I fared marginal and so were given a chance to choose between Express or Normal Acad (NA). In the end, my parents felt that its better for me to choose NA as they dun want to stress me out.

As a result, A went to a marginal Sec sch while i get to go to a good sec sch but i do NA. After a while, we lost touched. Yrs later i heard she gave birth to a baby and became an unwed mother. That was when we were both in our teens yrs... I think during then, i came to know Jesus Christ.

Soooo many yrs have passed... acty she has always been on my mind... i have always wanted to find her... but for some reasons, i just cant seem to find her... not thru friendster and i didnt try Facebook yet... Until recently someone started our Pri Sch profile page then... i found her there! I was sooo happy! we added each other and got hold of her hp num... i am sooooooo looking forward to meeting up with her to catch up on things... She is now a divorcee and taking her daughter with her... Her daughter is alrdy in Sec school! Gosh... I wonder how much she had suffered with that man during her growing up yrs... and seriously, my heart goes out to her... as always..

After i found and added her... i was thnking and looking back abt both of our lives... In comparison, God always have a plan for everyone... and there must be reasons why things happened.

A

- Got into a marginal Sec Sch to do Express stream.

- Met a bad guy and became an unwed mum at (maybe) 15.

- Might have been thru a lot of sufferings as an unwed mum and a student too.

- Ends up in divorce and have to take care of daughter.

ME

- Chose NA for good reasons and 'accidentally' got into a good Sch.

- Went to church during teens and became Christian at 15.

- Growed up in church and trained in the ways of the Lord.

- Met my man in church, married and now with a kid.

Sometimes, really, sometimes we will never know what God has intended for each and everyone of us. All i know is that i want to reach out to her and introduce God to her, becos she has missed out on so much alrdy. I feel she deserved proper care, love and concern.. Only God can give...

So i also thnk God that i found my long lost old time fren! :)

And, yup yup... this is how i started 2012... In a pretty good way i guess.. frenships reconciled and strengthened... Lost fren found back... God i thank You... I really do...

**Chaos!**

不知为什么...

In the past, i rather tell my frens or hubby abt things that are going on in my life... but now, 不知为什么, i prefer to blog it here. Even tho not many are reading, its fine.... i just want to say it here instead. :)

Today is Michela's 1st official day of school (playgrp rather) and she was so excited that the moment she woke up, she kept saying "i want go school...". I can foresee my weekday mornings to be really busy from now on... Her class starts at 9.15am and so we gotta leave house by 8.50am and this means we need to wake up at 7.30am to prepare BF for her and bath her too... Well, i used to wake up even earlier when i was working back then. hahah...

So today, she insisted on wearing her sunglasses to school lor...

Actually, no photography is allowed in school for security reasons, but i secretly took a snap of Michela in today's class. She's the last one behind with 2 pig tails tied to its side. :)

Today's class was very chaotic cos parents were allowed for 1st few days of school so, if got parents, the kids are even more daring to shout and scream, etc... plus there seems to be 2 little bullies in her class too... scream and shout and cry and push and pull and snatch toys... making the class very noisy and messy... but i guess its like this for 1st few days of school ba... I am praying that she will settle down really soon without me by her side. :)

Anw, her teacher commented tht she likes to dance and sing... cos whenever they play music, she will naturally dance to the beat on her own... hahaha... i am proud of my gal and i thank God for her. :)

And today's theme is Red colour and Apple... Michela did her 1st ever colouring... even tho a bit CMI, but i feel its ok lah... let her have the feel of colouring and drawing first ba... :)

Last nite, i received a bday card from Chanel and i am happy! I thnk this yr, i wun initiate my bday celebs ba.... enuff of me doing things le... Maybe its time to see who are really my frens that cares for me... hahahah.. jus kidding! But well, if theres a celeb, there is. If not, i guess it doesnt matter anymore ba. :)

Yesterday i was clearing and filing some of Michela's stuff and i came across this photo.. The baby is ME :) Can recognise? I always cant recog myself one... hahah.. and of cos the lady carrying me is my mother. :)

Not trying to be Emo again, but... i do miss her... always in fact. I thnk she's quite pretty when she was young. heheh..


I feel like setting a PW for my blog... prefer it to be more private. BUT.... i dunno how... hahaha... see how ba... :)

Am I spoilt??

My lappy is down and hubby said it will take a few days before it can be 'up' again... So I am doing this post using iPad instead. :)

Went to msia with my in laws to visit my grandma in law and some of mk's relatives on wed and thurs. Before I left, hf whatsapp me to enjoy the trip and I told her that i am not really going there for a holiday... It's more to accompany my in laws and hubby to visit their relatives... Some of them have been wanting to see michela for ages ( i heard)..

I suppose what I said to hf is true to a certain extent. Went over... Michela played a lot with the kids there, totally enjoying herself... But amid all these, from the way things are arranged (like 'itinerary'), the way some aunties talked to me... Really made me think whether am I too spoilt to even stay a nite over at msia.

From time to time, I can see that they try to give in to me like shopping and even having meals.. One of his aunties even commented to me the difference bet SG kids and Msia kids.. Acty I do agree with her that we shouldn't over protect our kids at times... If not they might grow up to be 'weak' and unable to take care of themselves, but I also must say that I don't really feel too happy abt this trip to msia.. It makes me feel like I am too spoilt for them... I am over protecting Michela... The place is dirty to stay at, etc... Oh, even sleeping in air con room too! My FIL said loudly that Mk, michela and myself MUST sleep in air con room one. But my question is... How does he know?? He doesn't sleep with us or hasn't stayed over at our place before... How can he just say out like he understands us SO well? I feel he shouldnt say things for us just like that. Sigh...

"So, am I spoilt?" I asked MK.. He replied confidently "NO, it's just difference living standard darling.."

I gave thot to his reply and can't help but to a certain extent agree with him... Yup, it's diff living standard and yes i might not used to it, but what then do u expect me to do? Quickly and totally get used to their living std? It's like asking baby A to drink baby B's mother's milk... And if baby A cant do it, baby A is a spoilt brad.. HUH??? Doesn't make sense.

I think wats most impt is to try to adapt if possible and if not, at least have respect for other ppl's 'culture' and/ or living habit... And not sarcastically saying things that make ppl feel you don't respect them becos of these living differences.

So if you ask me whether I would want to stay over again in msia with the relatives, I would still stay over if can... Becos I want to at least try, if not respect them... But I am just Sianz tht this is probably how ppl see us.. Hm..

Anw, I am glad to be back home... :)

before I go, on a random note - I feel like going overseas for a shopping trip... Maybe HK, TW? Heheh... BKK is out for time being until its safer or in better condition to go. Holiday... Holiday... Holiday... Holiday............

An Early Bday Pressie!

I am excited! Finally after 3 attempts, i got it! Totally delivered to my house on a Monday morning!!

I realised that almost all my HPs are purchased by him! So technically speaking, i have not paid for a single HP ever since we are together... WOW...
