Kel's bday @ Minori

A few of us celebrated Kel's bday at a Jap Restaurant, call the Minori. They serve Ala-Carte buffet, all jap food for $36++(+) per person.

Of cos almost everyone were excited abt it, becos they can eat sashimi, tuna, etc.. (all fresh!) for free flow!

Me not very excited la.. haha cos i dun eat raw food and i dont quite enjoy jap food either. :I

Becos i really cant appreciate the former at all! hahah... I know, i know... Waste $$ rite? ai ya.. dun like that la.. i really tried to fulfil my righteousness by eating slight more expensive food liaoz leh.. like the Garlic Fried Rice! (yummy!!), and some sushis, soft shell crabs, tempura prawns, etc... kekeke...

And, it was a VERY funny gathering la and all thanks to Victor lor.. i think him tog with BK, really Jue Pei jokers man!

Anyway, Happy Bday Kel. :)

Our 730th day.

24th Mar 07 was THE day we decided to spend the rest of our life with each other.

24th Mar 09 -> 730 days together, living under same roof, sleeping next to each other, exposing to both good and not so good side in each other's life.

奉子成婚??

Was having a dept lunch, to celebrate one collegaue's bday yesterday when one of the newer colleague who was 23 of age just asked me how come i didnt want to 奉子成婚?

I was in a little shock and then i asked her back, "Is this how you think that it should be?" She replied" Uh-huh, thats what people are doing nowadays right?"

For a moment, i really didnt know how to answer her back. I was in shock. You mean people nowadays REALLY think like this? They think that 奉子成婚 is a norm! Oh my.... GOSH.

I was sad, but didnt wanted to show out (as we were celebrating a colleague's bday), so i just explained to her that rightfully it is NOT meant to be like what she thinks. The other few colleagues sitting near us looked at me talk and were listening attentively (bah). I dont thnk i have gave a good explaination, but i do hope what i said, get into them.

This should NOT be a norm.

It really saddens me to know how much the society has changed in their thinking on marriage.

It also angers me to know that the STUPID devil is working so hard!

All the more, we should 'work harder'! :I

Another 2 years...

Went to send Xiaofang and Junming off this morning. Junming is going to US due to work reasons for 2 years and thus, bringing the whole family along with him. Their flight was 6.50am and we reached Airport at 4.15am!

The couple and their adorable kids are very famous wor. At first i thought maybe only the immediate family and a few gps of their closer friends will turn up, but wow!, in the end, more than what i expected came to see them off! This shows how much of a blessing they have been in others' life. :)

But anyway, they will be there for 2 years (hopefully wont extend, like last time) and by the time they come back, Aven will be 5 while Adel near 3 bah, Chunmei's BB also will be near 2, and Peggy and Shubin will officially be someone's wife. And me, MAYBE a mother by then too. haha.. (fingers all crossed!)

Mk and I will surely miss them a lot. During those 3 weeks they stayed at our house (if you know why), we not only have developed a bond with the kids, but closer friendship with their parents too. I think both sides will agree that this friendship has broken thru to a slightly higher level of closeness liaoz! :)

What a Season

Yup, what a season.

Recently have been a little busier, running between 2 hospital. Especially MK.

His grandma in Malaysia was diagnosed with liver infection and because of that, she has blood infection too. (hm, all the infections coming up, bad..) Was warded to JB Hospital for abt a week, but ptl, think she is responding well to the anti-biotics and medicine given, thus finally moved to normal ward! PTL! I am praying that she will be totally healed in Jesus' name! :)

Now, its Gunagzu's turn. He has been diagnosed with pneumonia. Have been coughing badly for a week and his persistent fever dont seem to e going away too. He is warded to NUH children ward. boo... Went to visit him yesterday and this is the first time i see him so unwell and no smile at all. He used to eat almost everything you give him (other than red-red thing cos to him its chilli and its spicy, so he dont like, ha), but yesterday, we tried to tempt him with many kinds of food and he dont want! In fact he didnt have his dinner at all yesterday leh. I am also praying that he will be well very soon in Jesus' name!! :P

So, really, what a season and i hope such time will past realli soon. :I

R.A.T

Went to play badminton with Yp, Rong, JK and hubby today. YP was the one organising this sporty outing. Well, it was fun but tiring. The guys were good, Yp and i were so-so, but Rong.... sighz... hahaha....

But anyway, we played for an hour plus plus after we ended the game, we decide to head down to Boon Lay Shopping Centre area to have our dinner. Just when we were walking out,we hit the pedestrain pavement and start walking to the hawker area. MK and JK were walking in front (they walk very fast, i think they were quite hungry then :) ), and YP and Rong were just behind me. I was walking alone, then...........

i suddenly feel sth passed and literally brushed thru the side of my right foot. At first i thought " Why did Yp (cos she was just behind me) kick me?" And, how i wished it was really someone kicking my foot, but IT WAS NOT..........

I saw that 'thing' that brushed pass my foot, ran down the drain and if i didnt see wrongly, it was a RAT!!

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!! (*G - gosh)

Immediately, i turned back and held tightly to Yp's hand (and i think Rong's hand too bah) and i couldnt speak! Becos it was FAR TOO GROSS!!! The gals kept asking what has happened but i just cant speak out any words then. Yp got a bit nervous and quickly shouted for MK. The guys turned and MK run to me and ask what happened. I finally got the courage to say, "Its a RAT!"

The gals kinda screamed! Then i keep asking someone ofr tissue and got MK to help me wipe away any DIRT that the rat left behind! It was far too gross and i couldnt do it, so MK gotta help me with it. Poor hubby lah... keke...

The moment i got home, i head straight to bathroom to wash my feet, eps that right foot. EEEEEE.... how gross, my gosh!

During bathing time, after i used the normal shower foam to wash, i still use Dettol to wash and i wash and i WASH!, until i have a peaceful mind......

Now i really dont dare to walk on those pedestrain pavemeny liaoz.... maybe i am paranoid bah.. hee..
